The Blonds Shine at NYFW
New York Fashion Week’s glitziest duo The Blonds return to the runway with a bang, debuting “Glamazon” looks decked out in fur and feathers. Never ones to shy away from a bit of bedazzlement, the designers sent their fiercest models strutting down the catwalk with the flamboyant sass and flair that we’ve come to uniquely expect season after season. The highest of heels also stole the spotlight, accompanying each look with a unique pair of stilettos fit for the most iconic of queens.
High energy and fervor took hold of the runway at The Blonds this season for Fall/Winter 2025, with models decked out in glamorous and bedazzled pieces. Designers David and Phillipe Blond highlighted their timeless extravagance through corsets and floor length gowns, drawing inspiration from the silver screen and Old Hollywood.
The eternal glam was captured in two parts: the first being “City Lights”, and the other being “Beach Nights,” both encapsulating the essence of a global muse always on the go. City Lights was all about seduction and sleek glimmer, which transitioned into the boldness and shine of Beach Nights. Notable aspects among the looks included feather-studded dresses, and sharply cut silhouettes that draped perfectly around the models. The pieces were made from a variety of fabrics, from sheer lace dresses to fur puff sleeves.
The “Global Glamazon” was front and center at this season’s show, with the designers modeling each look after the woman who gets everything she wants in style. This was further built upon through partnerships with Oribe, MAC, CND, and Christian Louboutin, giving the models an aura of divine, expensive women.
These powerful statement pieces were accompanied by the energetic vibes of the runway: a music tracklist including The Weeknd and Bad Bunny played as models with sultry makeup strutted down the catwalk. In signature style, the couture was theatrical and made a statement. Much in line with their vision, The Blonds have created pieces that will stun decades from now, truly being timeless.
